Moconá offers one of the best scenic views in the province of Misiones. It is a one-of-a-kind geological fault where the rivers Yabotí, Pepirí Guazú, Uruguay, Serapio, and Calixto converge.

Moconá means ‘that which swallows everything’ in Guaraní. The Moconá Falls make up a 3-kilometre-long canyon with transversal falls that run parallel to the watercourse, unlike conventional cascades or falls. The Moconá Falls stand 25 metres high and are 115 metres deep.

The whole Moconá Falls area is classified as a Provincial Park and includes the Yabotí Biosphere.

It is an ideal place to live an experience in contact with nature at its best: trekking, bird watching, boat rides and kayaking in the midst of the Misiones jungle.

From El Soberbio, take Provincial Road No. 2—also known as the Riverside Road or Ruta Costera—until you arrive at Mesa Redonda, the intersection where Road No. 2 continues until Colonia Paraíso, a spot located over 70 km (43 miles) away from this point. From there, the Moconá Falls are 18 km (11 miles) away.
